CEE Bankwatch Network and Friends of the Earth Europe are looking for an intern/stagiare to assist our work on the European Investment Bank and for general assistance to Bankwatch Policy coordinator. The intern/stagiare is expected to work in our office in Brussels, help coordinate the project with our member groups in CEE (Central Eastern European) countries as well as with cooperating groups worldwide. The work includes collection of information for writing policy reports and campaign materials, helping organising conference in Brussels in November and assisting Policy coordinator in her daily work. The intern/stagiare would + have excellent organisational skills + be fluent in English + have good knowledge of environmental issues + h ave background in NGO or voluntary activities + have knowledge of the CEE region and of EU politics + love unexpected situations + knowledge of any CEE language, French or Spanish is a plus The internship ideally starts beginning or mid of October 2006 and lasts for 6 months. Remuneration of costs of living in Brussels for about 600-800 EUR per month will be provided.
