The South East European Refugee Assistance Network (SEE-RAN) was established in December 1999 with a mission to support the process of reconciliation, repatriation and re-/integration of refugees and IDPs. Presently the network is comprised of 30 non-governmental organisations from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), and Albania. SEE-RAN has as its main goal to support the process of repatriation, re-integration/integration and reconciliation of refugees, IDPs, national minorities and other vulnerable and marginalized groups by joint actions on the national and regional level and by mutual strengthening of network members, thereby contributing to the development of civil society.
Main responsibilities – but not limited to
· Project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
· Assessment of project budgets and review of financial project reports
· Handling all financial transactions with the member organisations
· Setting up project contracts
· Participation in information and communication activities
· Logistic planning of meetings
· Fundraising
Qualifications and profile
· Relevant education in public administration, accounting or similar
· Experience in non-governmental sector and networking (essential)
· Experience in project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
· Solid experience with accountancy and budgeting · Ability to work in team
· Excellent command of English language
· Excellent IT and computer skills
· Availability to travel to any part of the Balkan region
· Valid drivers license
Beside the above listed qualifications, the candidate should fulfil the general conditions in accordance to the Bosnian Labour Law.
