South East European Youth Network (SEEYN) is a network organization involving NGOs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia. SEEYN was born in December 2000 and it has developed into a Network of organizations devoted to the idea of voluntarism with an increasing number of activities, many of which are focusing on environmental issues, which is of natural concern to the young generation. Today we have a situation were the member organizations of SEEYN have gained valuable experience not only from work camps and volunteer exchanges, but indeed from a number of co-operation projects with governmental institutions at local and regional level, as well as from civil society collaboration both within and across borders. In terms of programme development SEEYN is entering a very new phase in which previously defined aims become tools, and main stream is related to sustainable structure, partnerships, memberships and quality service. Therefore, advocacy will be the main instrument for developing supportive legal framework that influence youth and voluntary service; work-camps will be instrument for developing pro-social values and partnership strengthening; and volunteer exchanges will serve to enable youth to gain work experience and to raise capacities of hosting communities. SEEYN through the programme will invest in further capacity building of the trainers group.Trainers will receive a basic contract as a free-lance trainer. Trainers are paid on basis of the actual working days for a daily fee.
