CALL FOR VISUAL ART
SUPPORT SYSTEMS – NETWORKS OF RESISTANCE – AN ONLINE EXHIBITION
We are looking for art that addresses the issues of hope and healing: Art
that builds bridges, creates networks of political resistance, creates
systems of support for the ill or disabled, opens new horizons of
possibilities for building community and offers remedies for injustice.
Just as we looked last year at the nature of WAR and violence; we are
looking this year for an art of HOPE and HEALING, however you may define
it, wherever you may find it.
All mediums will be considered – but all work will ultimately be
represented as an artist's page which will include a digital
representation of your work (jpeg) and by a written statement and link to
your website.

CALL FOR EXPERIMENTAL VIDEO
Q_PULSE
National Queer Arts Festival's Experimental Digital Video Program
Q-Pulse is looking for short, single channel, experimental digital video
art to present as part of The National Queer Arts Festival 2006.
We are looking for work that pushes the boundaries of what we think of as
LGBT video: queer, non-narrative, non-documentary, animated, experimental,
music and dance videos--work that doesn't fit easily into pre-defined
categories or other LGBT video festivals.
We are curious to see what is OUT there and what artists are doing in
video that is creating new ways of looking and seeing the world we live
in. We are taking the Q-PULSE of the next wave of Queer art.
